The fact that this animated notwithstanding, Crisis on Two Earths proves once again why DC has the market cornered in the medium of comic book/graphic novel adaptations. The story is essentially straight forward, but there are *just enough* convoluted twists to keep you interested, despite the fact that the film is animated. Quite frankly, I watched the DVD out of the sheer boredom and surprised at the fact this actually an all-around better film than last years "Xmen Origins: Wolverine" movie, and even though Crisis is basically a cartoon, its science fiction was more grounded than aforementioned Wolverine abomination. My only complaint is that the guy NCIS did the voice work for the Superman character. The fact of the matter is that Mark Harmon is a terrible actor in live action, his voice work isn't much better. Suffice it to say he's no Tim Daly, nor is even on par with the lowly Kevin Conroy. The looks and seems like he should be a high school janitor, that little tidbit aside, this is a solid DVD.
